Job Title: 1st Shift Assembler - Aerospace Division

Job Description

Join our team as a 1st Shift Assembler in the Aerospace division, where you will play a critical role in manufacturing, testing, and inspecting high-value aluminum heat pipes. This position operates on a 1st shift schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with every other Friday off.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators by selecting the correct program and initiating machine operations.

• Oversee saw operations to ensure aluminum pipes are cut to precise specifications and receive training on the aluminum bending process.

• Handle and clean aluminum pipes meticulously according to specifications, ensuring care due to the high value of the products.

• Conduct testing and inspections, including leak testing and other quality assurance processes.

• Perform hands-on sanding and polishing of aluminum heat pipes at a sanding station, which requires attention to detail and involves repetitive tasks.

Essential Skills

• Possess strong soft skills and cultural fit.

• Demonstrate good work tenure with a stable employment history.

• Exhibit a high level of attention to detail, especially in small parts assembly or machining.

• Machine Shop experience is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
