About the Role

The Ultrasound Technologist will ensure high-quality patient care in a diagnostic and therapeutic setting, focusing on excellence in imaging. You will:

  • Perform various imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
  • Manage daily activities to maintain quality patient care.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both surgical and portable ultrasound exams.
  • Document all exams accurately using Meditech and manage imaging results in PACS.
  • Ensure quality control and proper handling of equipment.
  • Collect and document patient histories and lab values effectively.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required.
  • Abdomen Specialty (RDMS-AB) certification must be completed within 1 year of employment.
  • Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
