Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Technician to conduct repairs and replacements on valves, instrumentation systems, level switches, electrical components, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience with instrumentation troubleshooting, installing various instrumentation, and working with air actuators. You will also be responsible for using process meters, pressure calibrators, temperature calibrators, flow transmitters, and volt simulators.

Essential Skills

• Experience with VFD, actuator, instrumentation controls, and pressure and flow transmitters.

• Proficiency in valve automation, flow meters, pressure gauges, and level switches.

• Knowledge of motor controls, sensors, solenoid valves, and pneumatic switches.

• Experience with 480V

• Skilled in troubleshooting and executing repairs on failed equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with heavy single line systems, boiler controls, and motor controls.

• Knowledge of Rosemount and Fisher control valves.

• Experience in oil & gas industry and with compressed air systems.

• Familiarity with relay control logic and HART signaling.

• Experience working with 40-20 milliamp signaling and discrete valve automation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90729.60 - $90729.60/yr.

Excellent employee benefits and pay, 2 weeks paid vacation once full time and 3 weeks at 5 year mark, 401k, and pension ,Annual increases (pay rate just went up to $43.62 in Oct. 2025) Work site location is down by the bay not far from DT San Diego, good team/good people, and once permanent the union treats people well.
