WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Room team. In this fast-paced environment, you will provide critical care to patients in urgent need, assess incoming patients, perform life-saving interventions, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

This is a 13-week contract position in Utica, NY working 36 hours on either NIGHT or EVENING shift, every other weekend and holidays will be required.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room or Critical Care nursing experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
  • Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize patient care effectively.
