Building Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, sauna, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors. Responsibilities: • Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed for urgent maintenance needs. • Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, ensuring efficient resolution. • Perform routine maintenance tasks for amenities like pools, fitness areas, and meeting spaces. • Conduct regular upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations. • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of public spaces through daily inspections. Qualifications: • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. • Availability for on-call hours, including weekends. • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • Proficiency in PMS Rooms Management, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
