Logistics Coordinator / Dispatch Assistant Job Details

  • Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Full-time, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Days Off: To be determined (will be consistent once established)

Key Responsibilities Join our team supporting our customer's operations We're looking for an organized and communicative individual to handle the core functions of our dispatch and coordination efforts.

  • Dispatching: Efficiently manage and assign routes and tasks to drivers.
  • Driver Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for drivers, providing clear instructions and addressing their immediate needs.
  • Coordination: Liaise with the team and other internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle high volumes of phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support: Complete any additional duties assigned by DHL management.
Qualifications (Suggested)
  • strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a consistent late-afternoon/evening schedule.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (email, word processing).
  • Experience in a logistics or dispatch environment is a plus, but not required-we are willing to train the right candidate
Note: This is a crucial support role that requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
