As an Interoperability Regulatory Advisor, you will be tasked with monitoring and assessing state and federal legislation, regulations, and guidance. You will collaborate with product engineering and development teams, along with subject matter experts, to support the development of Oracle's healthcare products. Additionally, you'll draft strategic concepts and papers that advance Oracle's healthcare mission, while fostering partnerships to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

This role primarily focuses on Oracle Health & Life Sciences business units but also provides interaction with all Oracle business units that offer products to the health and life sciences sectors. We are seeking a proactive regulatory advisor who thrives in a fast-paced software development environment and is committed to excellence in their work.

What You'll Do:

Your main responsibilities will involve monitoring and analyzing state and federal policies relevant to health IT and interoperability. This includes:

  • Reading and assessing the impact of state and federal health IT and interoperability regulations on Oracle Health products and services.

  • Collaborating closely with Oracle's product engineering teams to evaluate product functionality and develop regulatory strategies.

  • Conveying complex regulatory and technical requirements to product and development teams effectively.

  • Acting as a subject matter expert for internal clients concerning the interpretation of applicable standards and regulations.

  • Working hand-in-hand with product development, regulatory, and quality assurance teams to ensure all compliance requirements and standards are met.

  • Conducting gap analyses and risk assessments to pinpoint areas requiring improvement.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, ideally gained in a healthcare policy or compliance role within a large health system, health IT consulting, or relevant governmental experience.

  • Experience working with state or federal government entities is a plus.

  • Strong familiarity with state and federal health IT, data exchange, or interoperability policies.

  • Experience with Oracle Health EHR products is highly desirable.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams on complex regulatory matters.

  • Membership in healthcare trade associations and industry groups is preferred.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and interpret technical specifications.

Salary and Benefits:

The hiring range in the US is from $87,000 to $178,100 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
