Data Analyst II

Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $40.00-$46.97/hr
The Data Analyst II will support business performance by developing BI reporting requirements, designing data flows, and creating impactful Power BI dashboards. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive process improvements. The analyst will collaborate with business leaders and engineering teams to develop data models, perform data investigations, optimize reporting, and ensure data accuracy across systems.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related field
- 2-3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and data retrieval
- Proficiency in Power BI (interactive dashboards, measures, data modeling)
- Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, optimization)
- High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data cleansing)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to troubleshoot data issues and improve data flows
- Strong communication, organization, and willingness to ask questions
- Develop BI reporting requirements and create clear, visual dashboards
- Build and maintain ETL routines and data models
- Analyze data trends and provide insights to support business decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design new visualizations and improve workflows
- Perform ad hoc analysis and maintain high data accuracy
- Drive continuous process improvement using available tools and datasets
