Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: only for emergent
cases
Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: Not
required
Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: No usually provided
by midwives, residents or group.
First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (surgical techs)
Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: TBD (CNM s are in local
private practice)
Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (OB/GYN ED Call)
Compensation Details
IC $190 per hour
Mileage and hotel up to $200/night paid
