Chicago, IL, United States Springboard Collaborative Full time

Springboard Collaborative closes the opportunity gap by closing the gap between home and school. We coach educators and family members to help kids learn to read by 4th grade. Springboard envisions a world in which parents and teachers work together-rather than in isolation-to accelerate student learning.

Why we need you

Springboard Collaborative invites talented and passionate current employees of Chicago Public Schools to apply for the role of Program Manager. The Program Manager oversees Springboard programming across all school sites within their assigned district or region, ensuring strong implementation and meaningful outcomes. This role reports to the Program Director and manages and supports our Cluster Leaders and Program Leaders, overseeing literacy programming at our ~25 Chicago Public Schools sites. The Program Manager plays a critical role in coaching educators, fostering family partnerships, and driving student reading growth.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position involving up to 74 hours of work per season for two seasons. Our winter/spring season will run from February 23 to April 24, 2026, and our fall season will run from October to December 2026 (specific dates TBD). Our programs will run 2-3 days per week, 60-90 minutes per day. As part of their 74 total hours, the Program Manager will be expected to participate in ~15 hours of pre-programming meetings, trainings, and professional development in December 2025 and January 2026 to prepare for the role.

You can read more about the requirements and responsibilities below. We'd love to have you join us

This is important

We are an equal opportunity employer. Diversity is more than a commitment at Springboard Collaborative-it's at the core of what we do and how we do it. We also know that having a diverse workforce makes for a better workplace. Springboard's hiring process seeks individuals who value diversity of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin, etc.

Finally, if you're passionate about an open role, we encourage you to apply- even if you don't meet 100% of the qualifications listed on the job description

Here are your responsibilities:
