Your Role As a Tax Preparation Associate at H&R Block, you will be empowered by a team of experts who will equip you with the necessary tax training for success. Conduct thorough tax interviews with clients both in-person and through various digital channels such as video, phone, chat, and email. Prepare accurate and complete tax returns for clients. Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and recommend additional services. Provide dedicated support to clients regarding IRS inquiries. Collaborate with team members to achieve office goals. Continuously develop your tax knowledge and expertise. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. Prior experience in customer service or retail settings. Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. Availability to work 25-35 hours per week during tax season, with the possibility of up to 40 hours during peak periods. What You Will Bring Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Tax Course. A proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere. Comfort and proficiency in using virtual communication tools such as video, phone, and chat. Strong communication skills both in person and in writing. Compliance with all IRS and applicable state requirements. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; higher education is preferred. Why Join Us?
