First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an analytical, detail oriented Mortgage Loan Officer with great communication skills to join the Mortgage Banking Department team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating residential mortgage loan production for the Mortgage Banking Department through network referral sources, developer projects, and Home by Phone.

Compensation:

The hourly range for this role is $16.00 / hourly; plus commission.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ( hours may vary )

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) is required within 30 days of employment
  • 2 years' relevant work experience in sales, banking, real estate, or business required
  • Postsecondary degree in Business helpful
  • Excellent communication and sales skills supporting the ability to generate loan volume
  • Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
  • Possesses good math, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow-through
  • Able to plan and organize
  • Able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
