The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital that provides a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services, specializing in general medicine, surgery, and numerous specialties. Our talented professionals deliver a wide array of services, supporting patients from birth through end-of-life with compassionate care.
The Nurse Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role as a clinical expert and leader within the medical surgical team. This position involves overseeing the quality of patient care while ensuring a safe and efficient environment for healthcare delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Directing daily operations and patient care activities.
- Reviewing staff assignments to ensure appropriate qualifications for patient needs.
- Providing support to team members and promoting excellence in quality and service.
- Resolving complex patient care situations effectively.
- Working alongside the manager to monitor performance and workload distribution.
Qualifications:
- BSN or related field; candidates currently pursuing their degree will also be considered.
- Current CT RN license is mandatory.
- Charge nurse or supervisory experience is required along with 3-5 years of nursing experience.
