Quality Engineer II

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer II - 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Quality Engineer II - 2nd Shift, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting manufacturing and product development teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer II - 2nd Shift -3pm - 1am

Location: Menlo Park, CA

Pay Range: 43/hr

What's the Job?

• Provide Process and Quality Engineering support to manufacturing to ensure delivery of high-quality products to customers.

• Assist product development teams in developing and maintaining high-quality new products.

• Identify manufacturing process defects such as scrap, nonconforming materials, and customer complaints, and help determine root causes and corrective actions.

• Collaborate with process owners to establish product stops and document release criteria.

• Review product specifications, quality plans, and systems to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

• 2-5 years of related work experience with a foundational understanding of quality and manufacturing processes.

• Basic technical knowledge of quality concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Familiarity with quality systems, risk analyses, and FMEAs is preferred.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and communicate clearly across departments.
