A Senior Azure Cloud Engineering Architect focusing on Performance Engineering is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing high-performance, scalable, and secure cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. This role requires a thorough understanding of Azure services, performance tuning, and DevOps principles, with the ability to lead technical teams and guide strategic cloud initiatives.

The role also involves maintaining the optimal performance of complex systems and applications. Responsibilities include analyzing, designing, and optimizing systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet current and future performance standards. Duties encompass identifying performance bottlenecks, developing and implementing performance testing strategies, and recommending improvements to application code, system configurations, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

§ 18 to 20 years of experience in cloud-based systems and performance engineering.

§ Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable cloud architectures on Azure, considering performance, cost-efficiency, and security.

§ Identify performance bottlenecks, analyze system behavior under load, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and scalability.

§ Provide guidance on system design and architecture to optimize performance, including database configurations, caching mechanisms, and code optimization.

§ Develop and maintain scalable and efficient streaming frameworks.

§ Integrate Salesforce solutions with other system components to meet business requirements.

§ Utilize scripting languages such as Python for automation and data processing tasks.

§ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure effective cloud architecture and integration.

§ Diagnose and resolve performance issues, providing real-time troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

§ Utilize Data Bricks for data processing and analytics.

§ Work with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure performance requirements are met and communicate performance findings.

§ Design and oversee secure system architecture to ensure robustness, scalability, and security.

§ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Leads and Senior engineers.

§ Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

§ Oversee the migration of existing infrastructure and applications to the cloud, ensuring seamless and scalable operations.

Requirements:

§ Solid understanding of Azure Cloud services, Azure Pipelines, and Data Bricks.

§ Proven experience as a Senior Architect or similar role.

§ Understanding of Salesforce and its integration with other system components.

§ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.

§ Expertise in designing secure system architecture and best practices.

§ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

§ Strong communication and leadership skills.

Skillset:

§ Azure Cloud services
