Overview

Field Sales & Merchandising Representative role at Evolution Fresh. Base pay range: $45,000.00/yr - $52,000.00/yr. Location: Baltimore, MD or Washington, DC; Territory: Baltimore/Washington DC. This position reports to Field Sales Manager. Travel requires 100% of the time. FLSA Status: Full-Time - Exempt. Shift: 1st shift (M-F 7am-5pm). Employment Category: Full Time - Regular.

What Youll Do
  • Act as main point person on all Bolthouse Farms field sales and merchandising responsibilities within the assigned territory.
  • Act as the Sales Liaison to a specific account or retailer determined by the territory.
  • Work prospects through the entire sales cycle: develop new leads, educate prospects, and convert interested shoppers into long-term customers.
  • Efficiently plan and execute projects within the territory according to company objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor industry competitors, new products, and market conditions.
  • Conduct industry surveys to identify trends such as price, product demand, and merchandising needs.
  • Establish and maintain win-win relationships with store personnel, conduct in-store demos where permitted, and optimize product placement and shelf space.
  • Maximize sales and customer service through planning, relationship-building, and in-store servicing.
  • Find creative solutions to expand shelf space, install POS materials, reset displays, roll out new products, and conduct market research.
  • Set and complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals to meet performance metrics.
  • Prepare and present regular territory sales reports to management and cross-functional teams.
  • Act as Brand Ambassador within the territory and interact with consumers.
  • Attend and/or participate in sales calls with RSM/NSD as applicable.
  • Create and implement business-advancing projects for all chains in the territory to increase product awareness and reduce stockouts.
  • Daily reporting of activities through Flowfinity software.
  • Analyze sales, scan, and IRI data to inform strategies and goals; create proposals and regional presentations.
  • The scope of the Field Sales Representative may change based on business needs and market trends.
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; at least 3 years in a relevant role (Produce Manager, Grocery Manager, Assistant Grocery Manager, or industry equivalent).
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Confident and determined sales approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze data.
  • Self-motivated and driven with the ability to thrive in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn proprietary software.
  • Available for extensive local travel within the territory (some overnight travel).
