Dev Supervisor

Our client, a leading global technology and consulting organization, is seeking a Supervisor of Applications Development to lead their mobile and application development initiatives. This role is a key part of the firm’s Technology and Information Services team, overseeing daily operations of the development group while driving innovation and excellence across web, mobile, and backend applications.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle for mobile, web, and service-based applications, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and security.
- Supervise, mentor, and coach a team of developers, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with HR and senior leadership to support recruitment, training, and performance management for the development team.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze needs, define project requirements, and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews, ensure compliance with firm policies, and manage the resolution of technical issues and enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in software or application development.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, SQL, and related frameworks.
- 3+ years of experience managing or supervising a mobile or application development team.
- Strong understanding of mobile development technologies (native or cross-platform such as Xamarin/Maui, React Native, or Flutter).
- Proven leadership skills in planning, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
