What to Expect:

In this role, you will:
  • Work alongside a team of technicians to perform preventive and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and security systems
  • Support the Facilities Manager by assisting with on-site decisions, helping distribute tasks, and participating in team meetings
  • Follow technical safety guidelines and ensure compliance with operational standards
  • Assist in managing vendor activities and project execution, including upgrades and repairs
  • Contribute to reporting and analysis, track consumption data, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in process improvement efforts and support Facilities Excellence initiatives
  • Provide technical support for complex issues and share knowledge to help develop junior team members
What will make you successful:

We are seeking professionals with:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with proven team leadership
  • Strong electrical background, ideally with data center experience
  • Hands-on expertise with UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and mechanical systems (chillers, HVAC, downflow units)
  • Familiarity with physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection)
  • Experience in project management and vendor coordination
  • Desire to take proactive ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion
  • Ability to lead with confidence, communicate effectively, and make decisions under pressure

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position in Virginia is $73,073.00 USD Annual MINIMUM to $135,707.00 USD Annual MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employee's contingent on personal and company performance. Our generous benefits program includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance with no premium costs for our employees and their families, and retirement plan plus matching 401k.
