Property Preservation Contractor

Overview:
The Property Preservation Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining and preserving residential properties. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring properties remain safe, secure, and in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including mechanical knowledge and facilities maintenance expertise, to effectively manage property preservation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of residential properties to assess their condition and identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Perform basic fabrication tasks as needed to repair or enhance property features.
- Execute electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize welding skills for structural repairs or modifications on properties.
- Carry out residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces.
- Maintain equipment and tools used in property preservation activities.
- Supervise maintenance teams and coordinate with contractors for specialized services.
- Document all work performed and report findings to management for further action.
- Proficient in fabrication techniques and tools.
- Strong electrical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Welding experience for structural integrity repairs.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques and materials.
- Solid mechanical knowledge to address various maintenance issues effectively.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring all aspects of the property are well-kept.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Familiarity with logic controllers for managing automated systems within properties.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain records of work performed and materials used.
- Supervisory skills to lead teams effectively during property preservation projects.
