As a crucial part of our kitchen staff, you will ensure our dishwashing operations run smoothly, maintaining a clean and efficient back-of-house to support our culinary team. If you are a team player who works well independently, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities
  • Dishwashing & Cleaning: Skillfully wash and sanitize a variety of dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using both commercial dishwashing machines and hand methods.
  • Equipment Care: Monitor the condition of dishwashing equipment and report any malfunctions to management for prompt attention.
  • Storage & Organization: Systematically organize cleaned dishes and utensils, ensuring easy access for kitchen staff.
  • Cleanliness of Dishwashing Area: Keep the dishwashing station clean, including washing floors and wiping down surfaces.
  • Inventory & Restocking: Help maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and materials for the dishwashing area.
  • Waste Disposal: Remove food scraps, trash, and recycling according to health and safety standards.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, ensuring proper usage of cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Support to Kitchen Staff: Provide assistance to kitchen staff with various cleaning and organizing tasks as needed.
  • Emergency Spill Response: Quickly address spills and breakages to uphold a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role such as dishwasher, porter, or busser.
  • Ability to operate commercial dishwashing machinery and handle 3 tub systems.
  • Capable of following instructions and assisting with multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Knowledge of and ability to execute safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
