We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our care team and play a hands-on role in supporting patients receiving treatment for mental health and substance use challenges.   This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who is calm under pressure, supportive by nature, and driven to foster a safe, structured, and healing environment.    
  • EVENINGS - Sunday through Thursday (2:45pm through 11:15pm)
What You'll Do:
  • Monitor patient behavior, provide emotional support, and document observations accurately.
  • Assist with patient admissions, discharges, daily routines, and facility orientation.
  • Help patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, chores, and recreation.
  • Ensure a safe environment through room checks, safety rounds, and de-escalation when needed.
  • Participate in or lead structured group activities and therapeutic programming.
  • Communicate clearly with patients and team members to support individualized care plans.
  • Accompany patients to appointments or community-based activities as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical boundaries at all times.
What You Bring:
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health, residential, or related care settings (preferred)
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to stay calm and composed in high-stress or crisis situations
  • Strong observation and communication skills
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and nonviolent de-escalation techniques
  • Willingness to work as part of a collaborative care team
  • Comfortable with light documentation and the use of electronic health records (EHR)
