As a Lead Software Engineer - Salesforce, you will play a key role in our Personal Insurance organization as we modernize our technology landscape. Your responsibilities will include advanced software engineering across various system components, such as designing, developing, configuring, testing, debugging, documenting, and implementing solutions based on user specifications. Additionally, you will consult with users to define functional specifications and manage resource usage efficiently while acting as a subject matter expert in multiple applications and technologies.

The base salary range for this position is competitive, reflecting various factors like role complexity, location, and your unique skills and experiences. Employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range: $135,700.00 - $223,900.00

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud & FSC Insurance:
  • Configure FSC insurance objects with complex relationships, customizing wisely.
  • Implement sophisticated Omni-Channel strategies for routing and agent management.
  • Build advanced workflows for case management in operations.
  • Design insurance-specific solutions for automating operational capabilities.
• Manage Integration & Event Traffic:
  • Implement complex Salesforce Connect configurations accessing real-time insurance data.
  • Design platform event publishing for critical workflows.
  • Create REST API integrations for enhanced insurance processes.
  • Implement Change Data Capture for system synchronization.
• Lead API Development:
  • Build custom REST APIs tailored for insurance operations.
  • Implement GraphQL queries for complex data relationships.
  • Design composite API patterns for streamlined mobile applications.
• Provide Technical Leadership:
  • Lead real-time integrations for insurance operations.
  • Engineer advanced solutions using Flow Builder for operational decision trees.
  • Mentor junior developers on best practices and business processes.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and lead high-impact projects.
  • Address and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
  • Promote technology improvements that benefit the business.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to inform solutions.
  • Engage in continuous professional development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five years of software programming experience.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of three years in programming or development roles.
