divh2Maintenance Technician/h2pThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our communities. The Maintenance Tech must carry out these responsibilities according to safety standards, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives. This position interacts directly with our residents and must have a customer centric mindset./ppKey Responsibilities (Essential Duties Functions): This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may expand to include other duties and responsibilities based on business needs./pulliCarry out responsibilities of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and other typical apartment repairs./liliSupport the Maintenance Supervisor with daily work orders, unit turns, preventative maintenance, and any other duties assigned./liliAdhere to the dress code as established by management/liliUse proper protective equipment when necessary and follow safety procedures./liliComplete work orders electronically and manually./liliAbility to maintain and upkeep maintenance shop for inventories on parts, tools, and supplies./li/ulpEducation/Experience/pulliTwo years of experience in resident maintenance and HVAC Certification preferred/liliKnowledge in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, appliance, electrical, and other typical apartment repairs./liliStrong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, clients, team members, and other business contacts, respond courteously to questions and requests, and stay calm when addressing and resolving customer problems./liliDependability and reliability in following through with responsibilities/liliMust have a valid drivers license./liliMust be available for emergency on-call rotation as required./li/ulpMcCormack Baron is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer, committed to diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging./p/div
