Job Opportunity: Physician - Endocrinology
Join a well-established and thriving practice located in Albany, New York. This opportunity offers up to 2 full-time positions for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinology Physician, working alongside a dedicated multi-disciplinary team at a leading healthcare facility.
Job Responsibilities:- Primarily outpatient responsibilities, with 1:10 on-call schedule.
- Collaborate with a team of Endocrinologists, Advanced Practitioners, and Certified Diabetes Educators.
- Provide diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care for patients with diabetes and other endocrine and metabolic disorders.
- Utilize the latest diabetes care technology, including insulin pump/sensor downloads and professional continuous glucose monitoring (CGM).
- Offer specialized services such as complication screening, medication management, and nutritional counseling.
- Engage in individual and group diabetes education classes.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate personal and professional needs.
- Open to experienced candidates as well as recent graduates working towards Board Certification.
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility and working toward BC) or Board Certified in Endocrinology.
- New York State Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous employment experience as an Endocrinologist is preferred.
- Copy of the most recent NPDB Report required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
- Possession of a valid New York State Medical License or willingness to acquire one.
