Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with a CA license and strong floating capabilities for a night shift position.

Responsibilities
  • Work in the ICU with float requirements to SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg units
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
  • Every other weekend coverage required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Patient population includes critical care, step-down, telemetry, and med-surg
  • Must be willing to float among all inpatient units as needed
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
  • Returning travelers must have a one-year break in service to be eligible
  • Only one holiday off will be approved for requested time off
  • Availability for lab work within 3-5 days of signing required
Requirements
  • Active CA RN license
  • BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Minimum of 4 years of RN experience
  • Experience in ICU and ability to float to SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg units required
