Home Time: Drivers are typically out for 7?10 days before returning home.
Pay Structure: You will be running about 2500 miles per week and making $1,300 to $1,500 per week. Additionally, a performance bonus of $750 per month is available for those who run 8,000 miles monthly and maintain a clean record with no preventable accidents or CSA violations.
Equipment: The fleet consists of trucks no older than 3 years, primarily Peterbilt 579s, with some International and Freightliner models. All trucks are equipped with inverters, refrigerators, and QUALCOMM units. Drivers can take their truck and trailer home if they have secure parking; if residing within 50 miles of the terminal, the truck must be parked at the terminal.
Freight: The job involves handling 100% no?touch dry van freight, with 70% of loads being drop and hook. Drivers are paid for loaded, empty, and bobtail miles. The freight is predominantly automotive, and the running area is east of I?35, averaging 2,500?2,800 miles per week for solo drivers and up to 5,000 miles per week for teams. The average length of haul is 500 miles. Dedicated lanes are available depending on the account.
Pay Schedule: Drivers are paid every Friday via direct deposit or Comdata.
Insurance and Benefits: Coverage begins on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment to include Medical, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance. We offer 401K with company match and paid time off.
Orientation: Onboarding occurs Monday through Thursday at various locations including Tontitown, AR; Little Rock, AR; Laredo, TX; Irving, TX; and North Jackson, OH. The orientation includes a DOT physical (if needed), remote video viewing, and in?person onboarding covering a road test, pre?trip inspection, and completion of employment documents. Travel to the onboarding location is provided via bus or rental car, with $200 in onboarding pay.
Opportunities: OTR drivers have the option to switch to dedicated or local routes when positions become available. Additional opportunities include earning a referral bonus for driver referrals and training students as a mentor for extra income.
