Maintenance Tech Assistant Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and cosmetic maintenance of the building and equipment to ensure that production operates in an environment conducive to maximum efficiency while ensuring employee safety and protection of company assets
- Develop preventative maintenance programs and keep records using online CMMS system
- Diagnose, understand and make minor repairs
- Communicate with and manage outside contractors
- Oversee onsite facility construction or repairs by outside contractors, such as plumbing, electrical or HVAC
- Perform, or manage outside contractors, installation of equipment, repair of equipment and modification to equipment to support manufacturing and distribution activities at the site
- Create, modify and prioritize procedures as the need arises
Requirements for Maintenance Tech Assistant:
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Basic metal fabrication skills
