North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT, is looking to hire a Full-Time Loss Prevention Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role plays a key part in safeguarding company assets through auditing processes and ensuring inventory accuracy.
This full?time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of MonSat 7?am?to?7?pm, and Sunday 9?am?to?5?pm. Weekends and certain holidays may be required based on business needs, and flexible scheduling is necessary.
Responsibilities- Act as the stores Loss Prevention Coordinator, proactively detecting and preventing losses.
- Analyze shrink/loss data to identify trends and problem areas.
- Review and monitor process controls and audits, identifying deficiencies.
- Train associates in loss?prevention protocols, equipment, and technologies.
- Oversee EAS system operation, maintenance, and compliance.
- Advise store managers on policy violations.
- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor cash handling processes; conduct random counts of safe and tills.
- Assist with key control, authorized access, alarm logs, and physical security.
- Perform counts and verify inventory via Moving Targets, Cycle Counts, and negative count lists.
- Correct PIP entries to reflect actual product availability.
- Enhance stock precision and reconcile discrepancies.
- Verify correct pricing and SKU labeling during inventory inspections.
- Provide loss?prevention and inventory training to new hires and ongoing staff.
- Maintain store?wide safety and security standards.
- Assist customers while executing duties.
- Experience in Loss Prevention or retail inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem?solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Knowledge of EAS systems and security protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
