Job Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for supporting strategic initiatives across multiple departments, overseeing the entire project management lifecycle, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring project objectives align with organizational goals. Up to 10% travel required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the project management lifecycle of multiple projects from initiation to completion.
  2. Coordinate and communicate project plans, roles, goals, and timelines, incorporating project lifecycle models.
  3. Perform project support functions as needed.
  4. Create, track, and adjust project budgets to stay within financial parameters.
  5. Mentor Associate Project Managers and guide them through the project management lifecycle.
  6. Present research and analysis to project sponsors and gain internal buy-in.
  7. Manage team logistics, including meetings, conference calls, minutes, and follow-up items.
  8. Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and departments.
  9. Manage expectations of project sponsors, internal customers, teams, and vendors.
  10. Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  11. Manage conflicts effectively within project teams.
  12. Identify and resolve conflicts proactively.
  13. Define and oversee project success metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from a 4-year college or university, preferably in industrial engineering, finance, business communications, or related fields.
  • 2-4 years experience in business, consulting, or analytical roles; focus on engineering, finance, management, information systems, or related fields preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Visio.
  • Proficiency in project management software, specifically SmartSheet preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • PMP or relevant certification is a plus.
