We are looking for a talented Lead Software Architect to spearhead the architecture of new solutions for our software, ensuring high quality through design concepts and clear documentation. The Lextegrity products manage millions of transactions, providing risk assessments and insights that empower compliance users to proactively address risks such as fraud, corruption, and bribery.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Structuring: Gather and document architectural and non-functional requirements for new solutions and major functional adjustments.
• Solution Design: Design and document solutions, engage in design discussions with the architecture, devops, development, and product teams, advocate for industry-standard design patterns, and select appropriate third-party technologies.
• Software Development: Write code and automated tests while implementing solutions for core APIs, services, or modules that will be used by a larger development team.
• Risk Assessment: Advise development teams on performance, quality, and technical security risks, while suggesting solutions.
• Code Review: Review pull requests from architects, devops, and developers, enforce code quality and industry standards while collaborating to produce consistent, high-quality implementations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 5+ years in a software architect, senior developer, or similar role, with a strong background in designing and delivering web applications and SaaS solutions.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in AWS services, microservices architecture, Node.js, and Lambda. Familiar with containerization tools, particularly Docker.
• Infrastructure Management: Skilled in using AWS infrastructure as code tools (like CloudFormation, Terraform, cdk) for managing cloud resources.
• Security Knowledge: Familiarity with security best practices and the implementation of security measures in cloud environments.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and capability to collaborate effectively with teams and engage stakeholders.
