Job Overview:
Search Solution Group is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst on behalf of our client, a telecommunications company providing wireless communication, data, and security solutions across the United States. Their services support public safety, commercial, and industrial sectors with solutions such as two-way radios, access control, and mass notification systems. This role is critical to supporting financial strategy, business planning, and performance insights through detailed analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support both short-term and long-term business planning.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis, to identify key performance indicators.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze operational and financial data, providing insights on performance.
  • Support the annual planning and budgeting process.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and complete special projects as assigned.
Requirements include:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
Experience:
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in FP&A or a similar finance role.
  • Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • M&A integration experience is a plus.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, financial planning software, and PowerPoint; Tableau experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Certifications:
  • CPA, CFA, or related certifications preferred but not required.
Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, modeling techniques, and forecasting practices.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications industry financials is a plus.
Key Competencies:
  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex data sets.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to translate financial insights into actionable business recommendations.
