Job Title: Assistant Buyer (Hybrid - 3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote)
Location: Strongsville, OH

We're currently seeking an Assistant Buyer to support our Merchandising team in a hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). This position is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills and experience in retail or manufacturing who thrives on collaboration, adapts quickly to shifting priorities, and brings a proactive, can-do attitude to everything they do.

What You'll Do:
  • Assist the Merchandising team with daily operational tasks.
  • Support the supplier onboarding process to ensure seamless integration.
  • Input new products into our database and prepare them for market launch, following established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate product records, including pricing, availability, channel restrictions, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of samples, sales collateral, and product updates.
  • Review and support product copy and pricing for print, email marketing, and promotional assets to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist with promotional setup, communication, and post-campaign performance reviews.
  • Review and reconcile item attributes and pricing discrepancies.
  • Resolve escalated product issues from customer service, operations, sales, purchasing, and supply chain teams.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships to foster effective partnerships .

What We're Looking For:
  • Associate's degree required
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
  • Experience in retail or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and work with a sense of urgency
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Work Schedule:
  • Hybrid schedule : 3 days in-office, 2 days remote each week
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
