The Role

As a Procurement Operations Specialist, you'll be instrumental in supporting procurement processes by managing the complete lifecycle of purchase orders. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will ensure that all ordering activities are accurate, timely, and compliant. You will collaborate with various teams, including Sales, Category Management, Production, and Supply Chain, enhancing operational efficiency with your organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, validate, and issue purchase orders, along with any required revisions or additional orders.

  • Verify the completeness and accuracy of all orders before submission to suppliers.

  • Promptly address supplier inquiries pertaining to purchase orders and transportation.

  • Develop and maintain operational reports to facilitate daily activities and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and complete order fulfillment.

  • Support supply chain operations to guarantee timely product deliveries.

  • Quickly resolve operational issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.

  • Identify tooling or process issues, proposing and driving improvements.

  • Assist with master data maintenance, supplier forecasting, delivery schedule updates, and inventory data analysis as required.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in purchasing, ideally as a Buyer.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills; familiarity with Microsoft Power BI or Python for data analysis and reporting is a plus.

  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional European languages such as German or Polish is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and self-management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Assertive, accountable, and adaptable; able to excel in fast-paced environments.
