At Senior Helpers Indianapolis, we provide compassionate in-home care that allows seniors to maintain their independence and dignity while aging in place. Our dedicated team of caregivers brings comfort, safety, and quality of life to our clients every day. We are currently seeking caring individuals to join our growing team of professional caregivers.

Position Overview

As a Professional Caregiver with Senior Helpers Indianapolis, you'll provide essential support to seniors in their homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life. Our caregivers are the heart of our business, making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families each day.

Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed
  • Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean environment
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Transport clients to appointments and social activities
  • Engage clients in cognitive stimulation activities
  • Document care provided during each shift
Qualifications
  • Compassionate nature and genuine interest in helping seniors
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Previous professional care-giving experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical ability to assist clients with mobility
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
