Hours: 7:15AM-10:30AM or 12:00PM-3:00PM
Hourly Salary: $32.00
Job Responsibilities:

Assists Health Careers Instructors with demonstrations in clinical lab
-
Assists Health Careers Instructors in supervising students assigned to clinical experience in hospitals or nursing homes
-
Assists Health Careers Instructors in maintaining records on student attendance and performance in the clinical area
-
Assists in planning with members of the Health Careers faculty for correlation of materials taught in nursing theory with work experience to be provided
-
Evaluates student performance in all procedures using established guidelines and directives from the instructor
-
In consultation with the instructor, provides input regarding student attitudes, behaviors, and clinical competencies of each student assigned for the rotation
-
Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by Coordinator for Health Careers or Health Careers Instructors (e.g. care plans, worksheets, med cards, etc.).

Completes clinical evaluation form assigned to students
Job Qualifications
- Must hold valid New York State Registered Nursing License with at least 2 years experience in a long-term facility or elderly care
