Data Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Data Engineer to join one of our Energy clients out of Detroit, MI. This individual's primary responsibility will be dissecting data from Alteryx. This position requires you be onsite in Detroit 3 days per week and remaining days are work from home.

Responsibilities Include:
• Analyze and optimize existing Alteryx workflows, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Migrate automation, processes, and scripts from Alteryx to SailPoint or other secure platforms.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience as Data Engineer or similar role
• Experience with Alteryx for data preparation and workflow automation.
• Strong development/programming background
o Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and ability to implement automation in compliance with security standards.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with SailPoint or other Identity Governance platforms.
• Knowledge of API development and integration for data and identity systems.
