Location: New York, NY 10029
Start Date: 10/20/2025
Duration: 3+ Month Contract (with potential extension)
Hours Per Week: 35-40
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM or 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
Position Overview:

We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with a strong background in Histology to join our laboratory team. The technologist will perform testing, prepare and process specimens, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while maintaining high-quality laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support within Histology, including specimen preparation and analysis.
  • Perform laboratory tests accurately and efficiently, following established protocols.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Document and report test results in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support workflow and turnaround time.
  • Adhere to safety and infection-control procedures in all laboratory activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited laboratory technology program.
  • Licensure: Valid New York State license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (092) with Primary Source Verification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year working as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
  • Specialty: Histology background required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Technology or a related field.
  • BLS Certification.
