A partner hospital in Lewiston, MN / Eyota, MN, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Veterinarian with a strong interest in surgery to join their dedicated team. Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including routine spays/neuters, soft tissue surgeries, and emergency procedures
- Provide exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care
- Work closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure the highest standard of care
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners about surgical procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
- Stay current with surgical advancements and best practices
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- Strong surgical skills and a genuine passion for animal care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Calm under pressure and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Prior surgical experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- A collaborative team player who values continuous improvement
