Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Pathologist Assistant to support the Surgical Pathology department on an 11-week assignment. The Pathologist Assistant will assist pathologists with specimen examination and preparation while ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards.

Requirements
  • Active New York State licensure as a Pathologist Assistant
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Pathologist Assistant program, or equivalent program as determined by the New York State Education Department
    • OR Bachelor's or higher degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program
  • 0-3 years of related experience in a pathology setting required
  • Fellow of the American Association of Pathologists' Assistants (AAPA) - preferred
  • ASCP certification - preferred
