HR Specialist - HR Services & Administration

Job Overview

Join our dynamic HR team as a proactive and detail-oriented HR Specialist. This role combines essential HR services with administrative support, playing a key role in enhancing the quality of our workforce and ensuring smooth daily operations. Ideal for those looking to build a strong HR foundation while broadening their capabilities in a thriving global technology company.

Key Responsibilities

HR Shared Services (70%):

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries from North American employees, providing timely and professional responses.
  • Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, document filing, information updates, and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records in our HRIS.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits-related matters in North America.
  • Support the coordination of HR programs such as performance reviews and training initiatives.
  • Prepare and analyze regular HR data reports.

Administrative Support (30%):

  • Provide administrative support to the North American office or team, including email management and procurement of office supplies.
  • Assist in planning team activities, meetings, and company events to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Support travel management and initial review of related expenses.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and pleasant working environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant HR experience, particularly in HR operations.
  • Basic understanding of labor laws in North America (US/Canada) and HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail; capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a customer service mindset, able to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with a high level of professionalism.
  • Fluent in Mandarin preferred for effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in multinational or technology companies.
  • Familiarity with supporting international or remote teams.
