Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our dynamic outpatient imaging team. In this role, you will perform essential diagnostic radiographic procedures with exceptional precision and a strong focus on patient comfort. Your contributions are vital to producing high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams as ordered by physicians.
  • Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging results.
  • Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and functioning.
  • Review images for quality assurance and adhere to storage protocols.
  • Follow established radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
  • Accurately document patient information and complete required reports.
  • Collaborate with other radiology and healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and imaging techniques.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography required.
  • Current state licensure as required by law.
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an X-ray Technologist, preferably in an outpatient or clinical setting.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, anatomy, and patient positioning.
  • Proficiency with imaging software and radiologic equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Committed to maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Knowledge of additional imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI) is a plus.
