Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Welder/Fitter to join our team in St. Louis, MO. This position involves reading blueprints, fitting and assembling metal components, and performing high-quality welds according to specifications. You will play an important role in fabricating precise and durable products that meet production and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Fit, align, and weld metal components to specifications.
- Perform MIG, TIG, or Stick welding as required.
- Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain equipment and tools in proper working condition.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Minimum 2 years of welding and fitting experience.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and measurements.
- Skilled in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Must pass a weld test and pre-employment screenings.
