Cath Lab Tech Position
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
10-hour shifts, including late days. The schedule consists of 4 shifts with required on-call duty for one week out of every four-week period.
Job Description
The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for assisting physicians in a variety of procedures including diagnostic heart catheterizations, PCI, IABP, and temporary pacemaker insertion. The role involves scrubbing and assisting the physician under sterile technique, while also requiring some level of experience working in a Cath Lab or as a Rad Tech.
Responsibilities
• Scrub and assist physician during procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Maintain knowledge of sterile techniques and ensure compliance during operations.
• Document patient information and procedural details as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Prior experience in Cath Lab or as a Radiologic Technologist (1 year minimum preferred).
• BLS and ARRT certifications required.
• Certified Cardiac Interventional Rad Tech (CI) and Certified Vascular Interventional Rad Tech (VI) certification preferred.
