  • Shift: Night Shift - 3x12-hour shifts (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 6:30pm - 7:00am)
  • Weekly Hours: 36 (Guaranteed)
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2340-$2510
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Scrub Color: Royal Blue
  • Parking: On-site parking available
MRI Technologist Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist (1.5 years accepted with Level I Trauma or travel healthcare experience)
  • Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications; ARMRIT may be accepted
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience in Trauma Level I or II hospital settings preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
  • Connecticut state MRI technologist license (pending license accepted; must apply prior to submission)
  • One professional reference required
  • Previous charge technologist experience required
  • Not accepting local candidates (must reside more than 75 miles from facility)
Primary Responsibilities - Hospital MRI Technologist
  • Perform high-quality MRI scans for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a hospital setting
  • Operate Siemens MRI equipment and utilize advanced imaging techniques (MRA, MRV, MRCP, spectroscopy, perfusion, diffusion, multiplanar reconstruction)
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as needed
  • Start peripheral IVs and ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced trauma and acute care environment
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system
  • Follow isolation precautions and PPE requirements
  • Participate in hospital orientation and annual training modules
