Must-Have:

- Ability to lift/carry 25 pounds
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and/or reach for extended periods of time
- Effective communication skills in English (verbally and in writing)
- Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions

Description:
Disassembles, cleans, sterilizes, reassembles, and packages a variety of surgical instruments.
Involves orthopedic, robotic, ENT, urology, bariatric, GYN, I.R., neuro, ophthalmology, plastics, thoracic, vascular, pain management, and general surgical instruments.
Utilizes tracking systems and operates sterilization equipment.
Expected to process 20-25 trays per shift.
Works in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and as an OR liaison.
Familiarity with specific surgical instruments, including Crile, Kells, and Adson Brown forceps, is required.
Public transportation may not be easily accessible.
Scrubs will be provided for the role.
Work-specific shoes with no holes are required.
Jewelry, hair, and beard must be covered during work hours.
