Job Description

RPI Consultants is seeking a Senior Infor XM Techno-Functional Consultant to join our growing team. The Senior Infor XM Consultant is responsible for leading and supporting implementations, enhancements, and optimization of the Infor Expense Management (XM) suite within client environments. This includes technical documentation and specifications, data conversions, report development and end user training & support. This role combines business process expertise with technical configuration and functional design skills to deliver solutions that improve expense reporting, approval workflows, and integration with Infor Financials and HCM applications.

The successful candidate will have a high level of Infor XM skills and the ability to think strategically. This includes excellent communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to interface effectively with our clients (at all levels). The candidate will also work with other RPI Practice Managers to effectively generate revenue where opportunities align.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute Infor XM implementations, including discovery, design, configuration, testing, and go-live support
  • Conduct client workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into system design specifications
  • Configure core XM modules, including Expense Reports, Travel Plans, Timesheets, and Payment Requests, based on client needs
  • Design and document approval flows, business rules, and expense policies using Infor XM Administration tools
  • Collaborate with clients to define integration requirements with Infor CloudSuite Financials, Global HR, and Payroll via ION or web services
  • Develop and execute test plans for functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Provide guidance on reporting and analytics, including Birst and XM standard reports
  • Troubleshoot system issues and support clients post-go-live to ensure solution stability and user adoption
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support data migration, interface design, and environment setup
  • Document configurations, design decisions, and client processes for long-term sustainability
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with Infor XM product configuration, testing and integration
  • Demonstrated experience implementing XM in multi-tenant and integrating with CloudSuite Financials using ION
  • Strong understanding of expense reporting, travel management, time entry, and approval workflows
  • Experience with Infor CloudSuite Financials, Global HR, or ION integrations is preferred
  • Ability to lead client-facing sessions, translate business needs into functional requirements, and develop solution design documents
  • Working knowledge of financial and HR business processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a client-service environment
