CT Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 09:00 - 21:30 (M/T/W)

Job Description

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). This role involves providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the processing of CT systems and surgical/sterile procedures, including studies with or without contrast media.
  • Maintain knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • CT License and BLS are required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
