Pay: $24-28 per hour based on experience

We prioritize hiring mechanics who are committed to the safety of our drivers and the quality of service we deliver to our community. As a Diesel Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting repairs, inspections, safety checks, and diagnostics on electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel vehicles.
  • Using vehicle computer electrical systems to interpret failure modes and adjust Engine and Vehicle Control modules.
  • Responding to road calls for emergency repairs.
  • Reviewing and completing repairs as outlined on driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Filling out required paperwork using fleet maintenance software programs.
  • Test driving trucks post-service and repairs to ensure functionality.
  • Assisting team members with repairs as needed.
  • Maintaining professional and courteous communication with our drivers.
  • Keeping a clean and safe work area in accordance with corporate and OSHA standards.
  • Performing additional job-related duties as assigned.

What We Need From You:

  • Experience with diesel vehicle diagnostic tools, preventative maintenance, and repair.
  • A basic tool set.
  • A Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of starting the position.
  • Hydraulic experience is a plus.
