Join Our Team as a Medical Assistant

Are you passionate about providing top-notch patient care? We are looking for a skilled Medical Assistant to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring their comfort and care. In this role, you will perform a variety of administrative and operational tasks along with patient care, making a real difference in our seniors' lives.

Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at: 14813 North Dell Web Boulevard, Sun City, AZ 85351

We're excited to offer a $2,000 Bonus for Medical Assistants who become part of our new Primary Care Clinics in Phoenix starting in 2025. The hourly wage ranges from $22.00 to $26.00, depending on experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs.
  • Record and update patient medical histories using electronic medical records software.
  • Conduct routine tests and screenings like mammograms and EKGs.
  • Assist in medication administration, including injections and vaccinations as directed by a physician.
  • Provide patient counseling on medications and special diets.
  • Perform wound care and change dressings as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in examination rooms and equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with our physicians and nursing staff to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Accurately collect phlebotomy samples with a focus on senior-aged patients.

Requirements:

  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.
  • Experience in phlebotomy and medication/vaccine administration.
  • At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Willingness to participate in the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a Primary Care Organization (PCO).
  • Understanding of value-based care, including HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, passing a proficiency exam.

We offer a competitive salary range of $44,900 to $60,200 per year, along with eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on individual and company performance.
