Join our dynamic team as a mobile teller, a critical role within our retail network where your interactions with customers are vital. As a mobile teller, you'll have the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, assist with transactions, resolve issues, and suggest financial products tailored to our customers' needs. This position offers flexibility and the chance to work across various bank locations, allowing you to engage with our community.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Maintain open availability to accommodate a flexible work schedule that may change weekly and daily based on the Bank's needs.
  • Travel to various bank locations within a designated geographic area, potentially on short notice.
  • Have reliable transportation to ensure seamless transitions between locations.
  • Exhibit consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Meet financial wellness activity targets by identifying referral opportunities.
  • Provide assistance to customers with inquiries and problem resolution while proactively engaging to understand their needs.
  • Actively greet and assist customers, taking ownership of their issues to ensure they are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Balance the teller drawer daily and participate in dual control balancing of vaults, ATMs, and other devices.
  • Hold an elevated drawer limit, check signing authority, and supervisor authority in the teller system.
  • Deliver the North(west) star experience, promoting our customers' financial wellness through exceptional service.
  • Uphold our 5 Culture Promises in every interaction.
  • Complete assigned educational training and pursue further self-education using bank-designed tools.
  • Have a strong understanding of all office systems, software, and knowledge of bank products and services, including digital offerings.
  • Adhere to all security protocols and dual control processes.
  • Engage in branch opening and closing tasks when necessary.
  • Protect the bank from potential risks by following compliance, risk, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with co-workers to complete daily tasks, demonstrating respect, professionalism, and support for management.
  • Be willing to work evenings and weekends as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to cultivate effective working relationships and participate actively in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Skill in presenting ideas clearly and concisely to various audiences, both verbally and in writing.
  • Active listening skills to ensure understanding and facilitate open exchanges of ideas.
  • Capability to set personal goals and effectively monitor progress, utilizing available resources.
  • Sound judgment and analytical skills to make informed decisions in complex situations.
  • Proficiency in using computers and the Teller System.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Preference for candidates with customer service experience.
  • Cash handling experience is a plus.
  • Background in banking or retail is preferred.

The pay range for this position is typically $15.50 to $17.05 per hour, plus a $1/hour premium and mileage reimbursement. Actual pay is based on experience and qualifications. Additional bonus earning opportunities and benefits are also available.
